Nowadays, Wuhan city has set up a leading group for developing modern logistics, which is making efforts in its work now. To fully exert Wuhan’s regional and traffic advantage, and to build Wuhan as a national pivot city of modern logistics, the municipal government plans to invite modern logistics advisors. The related circumstances are as following:　

I. The main work and development goal of promoting the development of modern logistics

Main work: formulating the plan of modern logistics; studying related policies about developing modern logistics; forming a concerted effort to promote development situation of modern logistics; harmonizing and resolving major problems encountering in developing modern logistics; propelling the construction of logistics bases and projects; promoting the development of modern logistics of the whole city.

Development goal: building Wuhan as a national pivot city of modern logistics.

II. Problems in direct need of resolving

Mainly: creating a suitable environment for developing modern logistics; building a modern logistics service system that agrees with modern manufacturing; conforming stock resources of logistics; enhancing infrastructure construction.

III. The duty of modern logistics advisors for the municipal government

Proposing opinions and suggestions for the development plan of Wuhan modern logistics; studying policy suggestions for promoting the city’s modern logistics development; proposing countermeasures and suggestion for conforming stock resources of logistics of the whole city; propelling the combination of modern logistics and modern manufacturing; enhancing communication and contact with renowned logistics enterprises from home and abroad; colleting related information and trends about international and national logistics in time. 

IV. Qualifications for overseas advisors:

1). Once CEO of renowned German and American third part logistics enterprises which have undertaken construction and reformation of the logistics park, with experience of conforming stock resources of logistics; or once logistics principal of large enterprises like General Motor, Ford Motor Company, etc., principal of Motor and Fittings enterprises or large business provision chain management; or once logistics advisors of like city government department, principal of logistics association. 

2). Suitable age is between 60 to 65.（without any limitation）

3). It is better for the advisor to work in Wuhan for a certain period.
